Quiet Eindhoven wil graag een verschil maken voor zoveel mogelijk Eindhovenaren met een hele kleine portemonnee. Met behulp van vooral lokale sponsoren bieden we onze members regelmatig een gratis uitjes aan. Gratis naar bij voorbeeld de bioscoop, de kapper, PSV, het Parktheater. Zo willen we armoede verzachten.
Dat gebeurt via een innovatief digitaal deelplatform, dat ervoor zorgt dat de aanbiedingen efficiënt en eerlijk verdeeld terecht komen bij de members die er het meest behoefte aan hebben. We geven een signaal: ‘we zien je probleem, en jij telt mee!’ Er wordt door de sponsoren en Quiet niet om een tegenprestatie gevraagd. Het vertrouwen dat daaruit spreekt werkt om een sociaal isolement te voorkomen of te doorbreken.
Quiet Eindhoven gaat op allerlei manieren aan de slag om “lawaai te maken” voor stille armoede. Dat doen we door armoede, en de toenemende tweedeling in Eindhoven, voortdurend media-breed onder de aandacht te brengen. We willen zoveel mogelijk mensen betrekken bij de verzachting van armoede.
