The Centre d'Estudis Sociològics sobre la Vida Quotidiana i el Treball (QUIT) started its activities in 1989.
QUIT focuses its interests on the development of a line of research that relates the fields of work and everyday life, emphasising the importance of both the context and the strategies of the actors.
QUIT conducts studies on the labour market, labour relations and working conditions, and time analysis. It has also collaborated with leading European research teams, thus adding a comparative dimension to the research.
