The philosophy of our Early Learning Centres recognise the importance of the Rights of the Child, and allows us to focus on the holistic development of the child, through reflective practices. Our philosophy and practices are informed by philosophers and pedagogy of Reggio Emilia, Rudolf Steiner, Maria Montessori and the International Baccalaureate that, as well as Te Whariki - the New Zealand curriculum framework for Under 5 years, as well as our own experience, observations and interactions. We pride ourselves on understanding the rights and needs of our community and providing high-quality education and care to children and their families. The colours of Rainbow Corner have spread all over New Zealand. With numerous centres in and around Auckland, we recently expanded nationwide. We welcome all our new centres to the Rainbow Corner family. Some of the new Rainbow Corner ELCs are located in: Queenstown, Botany, Onehunga, Manurewa, Blenheim, Hamilton, Invercargill, and Bethlehem. The Rainbow Corner is the first New Zealand Pre-School to get the ‘FernMark’ approval.
