Rebuild For Change is dedicated to empowering children and youth through creativity and movement. Our mission is to foster mental wellbeing, inclusivity, and social-emotional development, with a special focus on supporting neurodiverse and disabled young people in schools, community spaces, and workplaces.
We believe that creativity is a powerful tool for healing and growth. By integrating art, music, and physical activity into our programs, we create safe and engaging environments where children and youth can express themselves, build resilience, and develop essential life skills. Our approach promotes emotional regulation, social connection, and self-confidence, helping young people overcome challenges related to trauma, marginalization, and stigma.
Recognizing the critical importance of diversity and inclusion, we work closely with educators, parents, caregivers, and employers to advocate for neurodiversity and disability inclusion. We provide training and resources designed to create supportive, inclusive spaces that celebrate differences and unlock the unique strengths of every individual. Through collaboration and awareness, we aim to dismantle barriers that prevent many young people from fully participating and thriving in educational and professional settings.
Since our founding in 2023 by Faadiela Ryklief, an expert in early childhood development, and Tahierah Ryklief, a qualified sport scientist and visual artist, Rebuild For Change combines decades of experience and personal passion. Our founders’ stories and expertise inspire our commitment to using creativity and movement as pathways to empowerment and social change.
We envision a future where all young people, regardless of ability or background are equipped, valued, and included. We are more than a nonprofit; we are a growing movement dedicated to rebuilding hope, opportunity, and dignity through the transformative power of creative expression and inclusive community-building.
