RED CAD GmbH is based in Oberwil (Switzerland) and was founded in 2006. The origin of the firm however lies in the idea formed in 2001 of developing a planning software for electricians. The following five years were characterised by basic groundwork and practical experience, until the first software of the later product family was brought on the market in 2006. Due to the success of the product in Switzerland, it expanded after 2006 mainly to Germany and Austria.
After this first very successful and exciting phase in the history of the firm, RED CAD is now in a period of change and faces a no less interesting future full of new ideas. In this we will remain focused on developing practice-oriented products close to the market, that are at the same time extremely efficient and can be used cost-efficiently.
