Although supply chains have existed for ages, most companies have only recently paid attention to them as a value-add to their operations.
The Supply Chain Management Specialisation is made up of four basic courses in logistics, operations, planning, and sourcing, followed by a capstone course in Supply Chain Management Strategy. The Supply Chain Logistics course will cover transportation.The Supply Chain Operations course covers techniques used to optimise flow and focuses specifically on Six Sigma quality and Lean practices.
