Based in the East Surrey area, Ren Ryū Karate Club was founded in 2020 although the club dates back to 1976. Originally run by Shihan Brian Dowler of British Karate-Jutsu Remnei the club has passed through many organisations including Sensei Sue Pryor of the British Traditional Karate Association. RRKC is the evolution of a long line of instructors and styles. RRKC aims to provide its students with a wide range of opportunities and avenues with which to explore their karate journey. With RRKC, students can learn the traditional, self-protection and sporting sides of karate within a friendly and supportive environment. Suitable for all ages and abilities, the wealth of experience of our instructors can take you from beginner to black belt.
