The Rescope Project is a non-profit organisation empowering people to regenerate the systems and stories we live by, for life on earth to flourish. We get to the heart of sustainability. Humanity is over consuming, beyond what the planet can sustain and what we need for quality of life. So we’re taking the national dialogue beyond the consumer growth society, to new visions and systems for what’s most important in life. And helping people and organisations create sustainable quality living, for themselves and society as a whole. Join us and be part of the change. Despite all humanity’s advances, technology and awareness, a range of converging crises continue to worsen, from climate change and mass extinction to inequality and social fragmentation. As a society, we are confusing causes for solutions, and doing the wrong things right. We need a different approach, with new ways of thinking that are up to the task of regenerating the underlying systems and stories we live by. The Rescope Project builds on the award-winning legacy of its founder, Australia’s Inaugural Environmental Educator of the Year in 2007, the late Professor Frank Fisher. For over 30 years, Professor Fisher was a pioneer in systems thinking in Australia, and became legendary for his 'walking the talk'. We’re building on this legacy to help people create the systems and stories we need, and the personal lifestyles to match, to sustain flourishing life together. The Rescope Project hosts a range of activities. From Rescope Radio, a leading podcast program on changing the systems and stories we live by, to large public forums, small community gatherings, intensive courses and tailored workshops, advice and consulting, strategic planning, keynote addresses, informal talks, research, mentoring, and more.
