Jedes Jahr werden allein in Deutschland über 1,3 Mrd. Artikel zurückgeschickt. Dabei sind Retouren der größte Treiber für Kosten & CO2-Emissionen im deutschen E-Commerce. Und das alles obwohl bis zu 97% der Retoureartikel in einwandfreiem Zustand sind.
Mit Retury werden Retouren daher direkt an die neuen Käufer vermittelt: Endkunden melden ihre Retoure wie gewohnt im Onlineshop an, der Artikel wird über eine Schnittstelle automatisch auf dem Marktplatz von Retury inseriert & kann dort von anderen Nutzern zu einem rabattierten Preis gekauft werden. Anschließend wird er ohne Umwege zum neuen Kunden versendet.
Onlineshops können so teure Retouren in zusätzlichen Umsatz verwandeln und dabei 73% CO2-Emissionen sowie 30% Kosten pro Retoure einsparen.
Die Idee für Retury hatten wir - Laura, Lina und Moritz - bereits während unseres Studiums in Regensburg. Schon damals haben Retouren und deren schlechte Ökobilanz uns total genervt. Eines Tages erzählte uns eine gemeinsame Freundin, dass sie jedes Mal bevor sie etwas zurückschickt, nochmal ihre Mitbewohner fragt, ob jemandem etwas davon gefällt. Auf diesem Weg haben dann tatsächlich ein paar Artikel direkt einen neuen Besitzer gefunden. Ganz ohne unnötige Versandwege und Plastikverpackungen. Aus diesem Grundgedanken ist schließlich die Idee für Retury entstanden.
