The Rice Artificial Intelligence Association (RAIA) is a student-led, interdisciplinary organization at Rice University dedicated to advancing the understanding and application of artificial intelligence across academic, industry, and societal contexts. The association partners with external AI companies, research institutions, and Nexus & AI Houston (part of Rice’s Office of Innovation) to support Master and L33T members in expanding their networks and finding internship opportunities.
RAIA also emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, welcoming students from all fields, including the business school, to leverage diverse knowledge and skills for meaningful societal contributions. The organization plans to host workshops, lectures, and competitions to equip members with cutting-edge AI expertise and hands-on experience.
