Rhodesian Ridgebacks are a cross between the Bloodhound/Pointer (having a good nose), the Greyhound (having speed), the Bulldog/Bullterrier (having courage and tenacity), the Airdale and Irish Terrier (having dash and spirit) and certainly the elegant Deer-/staghound (having stamina). The breed is extremely loyal, but fierce enough that they were used to chase away lions from villages in South Africa. I chose the name Ridgeback Consulting because I share these traits in my character and work ethic.
