Het Nederlands Adaptief Consortium voor de Verantwoorde Implementatie van Generatieve AI in de zorg (RIGH:T consortium) is een samenwerkingsverband tussen zorginstellingen en belanghebbenden om de verantwoorde implementatie van generatieve AI in de zorg te accelereren. Generatieve AI heeft de potentie om de zorg te transformeren, door bijvoorbeeld ingezet te worden als administratieve hulp voor de zorgverlener. Daarbij is het echter van cruciaal belang dat deze technologie veilig en verantwoord wordt ingezet, alvorens deze grootschalig gebruikt wordt in de zorg. Het RIGH:T consortium is opgericht om de stappen van verantwoorde implementatie te waarborgen. Verantwoorde implementatie bestaat uit 3 fasen:
1. Betrouwbare validatie
2. Waardevolle implementatie
3. Duurzaame opschaling
In eerste instantie focust het RIGH:T consortium zich op fase 1: betrouwbare validatie. Voordat generatieve AI grootschalig ingezet kan worden in de zorg, moet het immers bekend zijn hoeveel fouten een toepassing bevat, of deze klinisch relevant zijn en moet maatschappelijk worden afgewogen of dit acceptabel is. Het RIGH:T consortium zal in fase 1 zich focussen op het opstellen van een validatieframework opstellen met benchmarks, gericht op alle zorgsectoren.
