I am working to build a platform, where people can share their own ride at the cost of public transport. By this, both ride offerer and ride finder are benefited.
I want to work on this because many people in our country can't reach their destination on time because of lack of public transport vehicles. Simultaneously, there are some vehicles on roads where only one person drives a car (i.e. remaining 4 seats are empty) and wishes to share his ride for some money.
So, by using my platform the person in the car and the person waiting for the public transport can meet each other. Here, the person in his private vehicle gets some money without any extra investment and the person waiting for the public transport can reach his destination on time with the same amount of money that of the public transport.
While studying for my 12th I would go by bus and due to the lack of those public transportation buses, I would be late for my classes. So, I thought of some ideas and tried to create a website on my idea.
My platform is also useful in lowering the foot boarding on buses, which is one of the major problems in our country.
So I shared my idea with some public in bus stops and some auto and cab drivers, they all felt really awesome after listening to my idea.
Now, I along with some of my friends started collecting the required data needed to develop my platform.
I am currently developing a website and planning to make an app asap.
I am developing the website in a way that people can operate it easily.
I think taking my platform to more people and make them use is my great challenge ahead.
I will use technology to bring affordable and standardized rides to emerging economies across the world.
I want to solve large problems using cutting-edge new-age technologies.
To attract ride-finders we are just fixing the ride charges almost to the public transportation charges. So, that they may use our platform rather than public transportation because of the comfortable rides.
