Robin & Tam is founded by veteran contractors from the Construction Industry. Those in Robin & Tam have themselves experienced the joys and pains of making a living in this line of work. It used to be an industry which operated on trust – where trust was the real currency for getting things done; but we are saddened to say that today, that is no longer the reality of things.
The industry is experiencing a cultural crisis – a situation where it is absurdly common for payment claims to be ignored, for contractual terms to be “forgotten”, and for contractors to sit at home, twiddling their thumbs, praying for the other guy to pay up – even if they said they would, yesterday. Many are cornered into helpless situations, forcing them into cash-flow problems, stalling other projects, causing unpaid salaries, or even worse – bankruptcy & broken families.
