Ο Κυπριακός Σύνδεσμος Πληροφορικής (Cyprus Computer Society – CCS, www.ccs.org.cy ) διοργανώνει από το 2017 τον Παγκύπριο Διαγωνισμό Ρομποτικής!
Το Robotex Cyprus διοργανώνεται σε συνεργασία με τον οργανισμό NPO Robotex Εσθονίας (www.robotex.ee/en) κάθε Ιούνιο.
Η συμμετοχή στο διαγωνισμό είναι ΔΩΡΕΑΝ και απευθύνεται σε μαθητές όλων των ηλικιών (δημοτικό, γυμνάσιο, λύκειο), φοιτητές, στρατιώτες και ενήλικες με ενδιαφέρον στη ρομποτική τεχνολογία.
Η διοργάνωση έχει στόχο την προώθηση και αναβάθμιση της ρομποτικής στη χώρα μας, ενώ αποτελεί ένα σημαντικό έργο που εμπίπτει σε διάφορους τομείς όπως τεχνολογία, παιδεία, εκπαίδευση και νεολαία.
Όσοι μαθητές, φοιτητές, εκπαιδευτικοί και γονείς ενδιαφέρονται να δημιουργήσουν ομάδα συμμετοχής μπορούν να δουν κανονισμούς και λεπτομέρειες στην ιστοσελίδα www.robotex.org.cy.
