Rockfield Steel Buildings was born in March 2019, with the vision that I wanted to employee all individuals that worked on Rockfield projects, which would remove the need for sub-contractors. This is because it gives Rockfield full ownership over their work and we can ensure that employees have the correct skills, and that coaching and development is taken seriously. Another benefit of working solely with employees is that everybody understands the safety and quality principles which Rockfield represents.
My career with steel started when I was just 12 years old and worked at a family business as a Welder and Fabricator. I then moved into structural steel towards my early 20's, where I continued practicing fabrication. From there, I moved into erection and cladding which is where my career has developed for the past 10 years, during which time I have progressed into site and contract management positions and taken on leadership duties.
Rockfield Steel Buildings are based in Gloucestershire and work nationally, we offer a consultative approach and we take great pride in our customer care.
Rockfield Steel Buildings principles are based around not doing anything specifically different, just doing it better. We pride ourselves on our health and safety record, safe systems of work, employee training, good communication skills and our knowledge in the product. Rockfield is about getting the fundamentals underpinned and right from the get-go.
Rockfield offers a full turnkey service, including making planning applications and meeting building control standards to managing groundworks with structural calculations, ground investigations, concrete slab design and building installation and drainage. Above all else, we care, and we deliver.
