Roots to Tree, a non-profit organization that works on Tree Plantation. This was found when the world was witnessing the century's worst pandemic Covid-19, and the entire nation was behind the doors. It was a mass movement by the enthusiastic people to plant trees with the Covid-19 precautions and safety maintained at the same time. The team does have 40+ volunteers consisting, students, farmers, and working professionals. Roots to Tree is working with schools and organizations also for their plantation work. They have planted more than 7500 trees in the last six months of time.
They have the approach of finding seeds locally and sow them for 3-5 months in their own nursery and prepare saplings before plantation. This approach helps plants grow fast because seeds are from the local area where actual plantations happen.
Their outstanding work to fight global warming was widely appreciated by the community and the media clapped for the work team did. Their work was seen and broadcasted in the news like ABP News, NEWS 18, ZEE News, Dainik Jagran, Hindustan & Dainik Bhasker are some of them. Their biggest testimony was when ABP News added their story in their morning program, Namastey Bharat, on 1st October 2020.
