La storia di Rubbermac affonda le proprie radici negli anni ‘60 a Gonars – in provincia di Udine – quando una piccola realtà comincia a produrre granulati in gomma da vendere alle aziende locali, in un’area che a quel tempo era considerata uno dei poli calzaturieri più importanti del Nord-Est.
Rubbermac assume progressivamente la conformazione di un’industria chimica e negli anni ‘80 produce la prima suola in gomma, per poi specializzarsi nella vulcanizzazione tramite compressione di gomme d’altissima qualità da destinare al comparto tecnico-calzaturiero. Questa tipologia di lavorazione consente di ottenere la massima elasticità in fase di compounding e di produrre suole di altissima qualità, nonché di assolvere a qualunque esigenza fisico-meccanica.
L’azienda oggi opera su un'area di 12.000 mq con oltre 90 dipendenti e una capacità produttiva giornaliera di circa 10.000 paia.
Rubbermac rappresenta il cuore della ricerca e sviluppo all’interno del Gruppo Frasson, con un laboratorio attrezzato nel quale operano tre chimici dei materiali dedicati al controllo del compound in gomma e allo studio di nuove mescole e tecnologie. In questa struttura sono inoltre svolti tutti i test di qualità grazie ad un Laboratorio avanzato che permette il controllo e la verifica delle produzioni giornaliere e dei nuovi concept sviluppati.
