Founded in 2015 by Colm Connolly, Rucksnacks are new, delicious high protein snacks. Having embarked on the trip of a lifetime, Colm returned to Ireland in 2015. Colm was struck by the popularity of beef snacks, however they lacked taste and were full of artificial flavours and preservatives. Frustrated by the lack of healthy and convenient snacks, he was inspired to blend his travel experience & farming heritage to create his own healthy snack range using natural dried beef infused with subtle flavours. Find out more about our story here. In 2015, Rucksnacks scooped two prestigious prizes in County Monaghan; “Best Young Entrepreneur” and “Best New Idea”. Our signature product is cracked black pepper beef bites. We use only Premium Irish Beef and our unique spice blend, then air dry for days. Our delicious snack is the perfect at any time of the day. With free P&P to the UK and Ireland, Rucksnacks protein boxes are arriving at offices/homes around the Islands, keeping hunger at bay with our awesome snacking experience. We are also stocked in local gyms and retailers. There is huge demand for our healthy snacks and Fans of Rucksnacks include; County Monaghan Footballer Fintan Kelly and professional soccer players Jonathan Douglas and Mark Connolly. Rucksnacks is 100% family owned and we are immensely proud of that. Our five values reflect what is essential to us and we strive to exceed our customers’ expectations.
