Founded in 2007, Bucharest RUNNING CLUB is the most important mass running events organizer in Romania. Our events: Bucharest MARATHON, Bucharest HALF MARATHON, Bucharest 10K GRAND PRIX, Kids Race, Ladies Run.
Începând cu anul 2008, Bucureștiul a fost inclus în circuitul internațional al maratoanelor, alăturându-se, astfel, celorlalte capitale europene care găzduiesc astfel de competiții an de an.
În 2019, va avea loc ediția a 8-a Semi-maratonul București (Bucharest HALF MARATHON) și a 11-a ediție a Maratonului București (Bucharest MARATHON). Ambele competiții sunt acreditate și înscrise în calendarul internațional al AIMS (Asociația Internațională a Maratoanelor și Semimaratoanelor). Semimaratonul București și Maratonul București sunt competiții internaționale ce includ atât probele clasice de maraton de 42,195 km, semimaraton 21,095 km, ştafetă 4×10,548 km, cât și Cursa Populară de 3 km, Cursa Copiilor de 1 km, și Proba Scaunelor cu Rotile destinată persoanelor cu dizabilități motorii.
Din anul 2016 Bucharest Running Club aduce o nouă cursă de alergare urbană: București 10 km & Cursa Familiilor (Bucharest 10K & FAMILY RUN).
