rZamba envisions every child in Ladakh avails equitable quality education to drive lasting and meaningful change for the region and beyond. rZamba's "Hoistic Child Well Being Initiative "(HCWI) therefore is addressing critical gaps in Government school system in Ladakh starting from District Kargil. Currently the program's major focus is on children from ECCE and Foundational learning age groups due to theie heightened vulnerability and prioritises stakeholder collaboration with Village Education Comimittees, school administrators, parents and the education department. Aligned with the NEP 2020, HCWI has three key verticals- 1. Improving learning experiences of the Children 2. Community and parent engagement 3. Strengthening of school processes. Since 2019 this program has benefitted more than 8000 children directly, engaging 300+ VEC members and 4000+ parents across 70+ communities across ladakh.
