We manufacture the Easy Sower, Saalet Super Seeder, Saalet Seed Master and The Hydromat drip irrigation system.
The company was founded in 1985 by Helge Petersen. He is a well known garden expert and author of many popular gardening books.
Helge is also known as host on a national radio program "The joys of gardening".
He invented a drip irrigation system which automatically added fertilizer. The Hydromat is his latest system which also includes a patented flow regulation valve.
The company name "Saalet" is the combined name saa + let which means sow easy.
The name is from Mr. Petersen's other invention the "Easy Sower" also known as the seed master or super seeder. It is a unique sower which can sow at specific depth, distance and cover the seeds all in one operation. The product has been demonstrated on national television.
