Salhi Group is a family owned business. It is one of the leading companies in services and trading in Algeria, with diverse interests in Logistics, Automotive, and Consumers products distribution. The company has been a major distributor of lubricants for the last three decades in the Algerian market. Our main partners in the lubricants business are Total, and Sonatrach. As a result of our growth in the lubricants business, in the year 2005, we have seen a potential opportunity in the transportation sector, so we specialized in the transportation of fuels. Starting with a fleet of five trucks, which has been growing up to 50 trucks. Today Salhi Group is considered one of the most trusted carriers in the business of fuels transportation and lubricants distribution. Handling thousands of shipments annually, this gives the company the strength to become a partner carrier for major corporations in Algeria such as Total, SNTR Group, and Sonatrach.
The year 2012 was a milestone in the company business. In continuing with its diversification strategy the company partnered with the South Korean giant LG electronics for the distribution of consumers products in the south region of Algeria, and the opening of multiple points of sale for the brand.
The automotive business is a new venture for the company in 2012 we partnered with the French cars manufacturer Peugeot to open our first dealership in the city of Barika, a partnership that has proven to be successful so far.
