Saros Science Popularization Team has been entered its Eighth year of science communication and astronomy for education, outreach and development in Iran. During this period, Saros has been working to increase the quality of education through organizing science popularization projects and movements through the country and has been combining astronomy with communication and has brought the scientific message to different publics, through original channels and contemporary languages. The main project of the team is the Astronomical E-Magazine, which is published free of charge on the web every month with more than 3,000 readers. In 2016, Saros Team has selected as award-winning “Science Popularizer of the Year” in Iran. The award is presented to a group of young communicators for significant contributions in the promotion and development of new pathways experience in science and the public’s understanding of astronomy and space exploration. Saros Team has been changing the face of science and astronomy awareness, education and innovation in Iran through path-breaking concepts, services and programs. Saros team are constantly striving to use outreach programs to foster scientific temperament in society, especially among the youth who are the harbingers of our future.
