School for Advanced Studies (SAS) is the No. 3 public high school in the nation and the #1 public high school in Florida, according to Best High Schools for 2023-2024 published by U.S. News and World Report.
School for Advanced Studies (SAS) is a Miami-Dade County Full-Time, dual-enrollment early college high school located on the various Miami-Dade College (MDC) campuses (the Homestead, Kendall, North, West, and Wolfson campuses respectively).
The Academy for Advanced Academics (AAA) students enroll in the same dual enrollment program from the Modesto Maidique of Florida International University (FIU). Our Advanced Placement and college curricula are designed for highly motivated and academically talented 11th and 12th-grade students.
Applications for SAS/AAA are only accepted from students in 10th grade. Students at SAS/AAA complete their high school studies while attending MDC or FIU free of charge.
