Schaal Sels is een Antwerpse, ééndaagse wielerwedstrijd die traditioneel gepland staat op de laatste zondag van augustus. De wedstrijd heeft het 1.1-statuut en behoort tot de UCI Europe Tour, het Europese continentale circuit van de UCI. Schaal Sels werd voor de eerste keer gereden op maandag 23 mei 1921. In deze werkelijk unieke wedstrijd waarbij de renners naast klassieke wegen ook kasseien en een aantal onverharde stroken berijden is spektakel troef. Schaal Sels geeft de wielersport in België een nieuwe dynamiek. Het parcours van Schaal Sels werd verkozen als "Track of the Year 2015" door het Amerikaanse Vélo, met veel media-aandacht als gevolg. Schaal Sels (Sels Trophy) is a UCI 1.1 pro-cycling race in the North of Antwerp (Belgium). It's daring and renewing semi-off road concept was elected "Track of the Year 2015" by Vélo USA. The 93th editing will be held on September 2nd in and around Antwerp.
