Sci-Co is an initiative with a purpose of promoting academia-based initiatives and co-operations between academia and industrial companies.
Collaborations between the worlds of academia and industry are happening all around us, yet to this day we cannot treat them as trivial non the less common.
There are more than one reason for that - bureaucracy, different mentality between both worlds, diverse goals and objectives and much more. Before you solve those problems and bridge the differences, we need to get to know them and learn how to navigate through them - this is Sci-Co’s specialty.
Sci-co is a platform in a form of an independent community that doesn’t affiliated with ine single academic institute or industrial company. Sci-Co’s platform address academic researchers in a broad spectrum, from bachelor degrees to PIs, and on the other hand, to entrepreneurs. Sci-Co enables an open conversation and sharing of knowledge, exposure to difficulties and practical tools to handle them, and an opportunity to find potential partners and mentors. All of this makes Sci-Co a unique platform to create successful and break-through initiatives and start-ups.
Now a days, Sci-Co’s activity focus on events organized for the members of the community, which are also open for the public, and also in advising, accompanying and guiding in the social networks.
