Sci-ROI@India is a young and dynamic network of STEM Professionals in India. Sci-ROI India's mission is to enable successful launch of early-career STEM professionals in India by facilitating — (1) collaborative research and problem-solving between academic, industry and non-academic professionals, (2) mentorship of transitioning Indian STEM diaspora, (3) mentorship of undergraduates in research initiation, and (4) open discussions of global scientific problems and their solutions in the local Indian context. With the creation of a high-quality network, Sci-ROI India intends to nurture further thought leaders and visionaries who think globally and identify new modes of engagement and non-conventional solutions to long-standing barriers in India.
