According to the Bureau of National Statistics of the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the total number of students amounted to 576,557 people. Compared to the last academic year, the number of students decreased by 4.6% in the current academic year. In total, 152,789 people were admitted to universities. 115,186 people were expelled from universities for various reasons, 153,627 people graduated from universities. We see that almost 20% of all students in the country were expelled from universities for various reasons. Of these, 9.1% were expelled due to academic failure. As students, we see the problem in the fact that it is difficult for students to contact teachers, since teachers often do not have time for students. For example, in SDU, the system is such that many students have different schedules, and as we know, SDU teachers can devote only one hour a week to “office hours”. According to our survey, 54.2% of students face problems with their studies in the first year, and 29.2% of the students we interviewed did not manage to meet with a teacher for “office hours”. Also in our survey, to the question “how often have you asked for help from other students”, more than 54\% of students answered that they seek help from other students on a regular basis. Also in our survey, we found out whether senior students face problems with internships at the university, as it turned out, many undergraduates have all sorts of problems with this. Thanks to these statistics, we see the problem of our students and we want to contribute to the education of our country, and to minimize the number of students expelled due to academic failure. To do this, my team and I have developed a website where students who are strong in certain subjects could help other students with lessons.
