During this time, he also supported McKinsey & Company as a Senior Advisor working with over 50 multinational companies to provide leadership coaching and support for organizational transformation. Prior to Chemours,, Chris had over 40 years of chemical industry experience with DuPont, ICI and Stauffer Chemical, in Asia, Europe and the U.S.

During his 6 year tenure as CEO, Mark and his leadership team streamlined the Chemours’ business and cost structure; successfully managed its legacy liabilities; reduced its net debt to EBITDA ratio from 7x to 2.5x; increased EBITDA and free cash flow by over 100%.; and significantly increased the company’s market cap. Prior to Chemours, Mark spent over 35 years with DuPont, in various leadership roles in both the U.S. and Europe.
