De sectie Arbeids- & organisatiepsychologie zet zich in voor psychologen werkzaam op het gebied van de arbeid- en organisatiepsychologie (A&O) en de arbeid- en gezondheidspsychologie (A&G). Wij houden ons bezig met onder andere personeelsselectie, loopbaanontwikkeling, training, management, werkstress en ziekteverzuim, counseling, sociale werkvoorziening en beroepskeuze. Onze missie is om te werken aan de ‘Corporate psychological responsibility’, het kracht geven aan de kwaliteit van mensen in organisaties. Wij versterken u als werkende, uw team, uw organisatie en de maatschappij vanuit de psychologie.
Om de kwaliteit van de Arbeids- & organisatiepsychologie binnen organisaties en bedrijven te waarborgen heeft het NIP ook een register voor Arbeids- & organisatiepsychologen, de zogenaamde Registerpsychologen NIP A&O. De Registerpsycholoog NIP A&O is een professional die zich onderscheidt door het blijvend ontwikkelen van kennis en vaardigheden en heeft aangetoonde postacademische ervaring.
