Sensorik Austria is an internationally renowned supplier of high-performance sheet break sensors/detectors and Online-Moisture sensors on paper machines, tissue machines, pulp dryers, corrugator lines, with innovative sensor and fibre optic technology.
Over 300 paper machines in more than 30 countries around the globe are trusting Sensorik Austria´s sensors to detect sheet breaks and avoid unnecessary financial losses in their production lines since more than 35 years.
One of the most demanding position for detecting sheet/web breaks in a paper machine is definitely the first dryer group, high temperature & humidity, polluted air, dust,.. and the paper is running on a dryer felt. Our solution, the “SensoWeb Felt” uses a NIR-multispectral technology that distinguishes the difference between the paper web and the dryer/carrier felt, this makes him completely independent to color changes either in the paper-web or the dryer/carrier felt.
The innovative technology and design of our “SensoWeb Moist” allows the monitoring of moisture in the paper web as early as from the press-section, entrance to the drying section in order to optimize press performance, reducing dryer energy,… savings of up to 4% total energy costs in paper production can be achieved.
Besides our main competence in the P&P-, Corrugator- and Tissue sector, we also offer fibre optic sensors and other professional sensor technology for use in a wide variety of other industrial sectors and mechanical engineering, such as our newly developed online “Tri²Dent material sensor”.
