Septacorp Uganda Limited: Shaping Pharmacy’s Future Since 2020
Founded as PSL (Pharmaceutical Society of Lumumba/Livingstone) by 7 pharmacy students at Makerere University in 2020, Septacorp Uganda Limited emerged in 2025. Its name was inspired by the seven ("septa") trailblazers, after the PSL name was unavailable at registration. Initially, we supported students through pharmacy school, led career guidance outreaches, and tackled underexplored research.
Today, we invest in pharmacy ventures, excel in compounding, pharmacy consultancy, research, and student mentorship especially for women in STEM.
With ambitions to redefine clinical pharmacy and manufacturing operations, we’re driving innovation and excellence in Uganda’s pharmaceutical landscape.
