Service Learning enables transformative volunteering experiences that enhance student's careers, our society and the planet. Students Service Learning Unit, through the delivery of the award winning Community Internship Course, emphasises the importance of enhancing employability, building social enterprise skills, and creating meaningful impact within our local and global community. Partners Our partners share our ethos of service learning and provide valuable professional opportunities for students through volunteering. We are proud to have been working with over 395 local, national and international community organisations over the last five years. Our students have been highly regarded by our partner organisations with over 80% of them saying they would employ their interns. We constantly strive to create a positive social impact for our community, being our students, our partners and their clients. Through each of our initiatives, we seek to create positive, meaningful and sustainable outcomes that make a difference, on both macro and micro levels for the community. Service Learning Unit’s professional development series integrate our community impact with opening Griffith University services to strengthen hosting partnerships.
