Mission Statement: Setareh Association is a non-profit organization committed to providing humanitarian assistance and promoting human rights for disadvantaged groups worldwide. Our mission is to foster the development of human rights, raise awareness of injustices, and provide humanitarian aid and tangible support to those in need, especially children, refugees, and marginalized communities. Activities Overview: Setareh Association operates in two key areas: Human Rights Development: Advocacy and awareness: We actively participate in demonstrations, conferences, and media outreach to highlight human rights violations globally. Notably, we have campaigned to recognize the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization within the EU and UK. Educational initiatives: We work to explain the historic and cultural contexts behind human rights abuses, raising awareness both in Switzerland and internationally, for example, through news articles. Partnerships: Our collaborations include working with organizations such as Amnesty international and the Association of Iranian Human Rights and Allies. We also lead and support conferences and events across Europe, addressing key human rights issues. Humanitarian Aid: Support for refugees: We assist political refugees, helping them rebuild their lives. For example, we provided support to Chiako, a young Iranian refugee, aiding his settlement in Switzerland. Support for orphanages, humanitarian and educational projects: We lead humanitarian projects in Iran and collaborate with various NGOs to support education and youth development, ensuring that funds are used effectively and transparently to fulfill our mission. We contribute to projects such as the orphanage "Hanay Pakan Welat" in Sanandaj, Iran. Partnerships and donations: We support initiatives like Manini e.V. and Choba Choba Foundation, promoting access to education and sustainability for vulnerable populations.
