The SHAKE Africa Project is an organisation dedicated to the education and empowerment of young people (especially women) on issues surrounding sexual health. We aim to empower young people to take control of their sexual and reproductive health by providing them with up-to-date and accurate information on sexual health and contraception in innovative ways. We bring a young, fresh and non-judgmental perspective to sex and sexuality.
Through our youth education schemes and our website, we hope to tackle the spread of HIV/AIDs and other STIs, reduce the number of unwanted pregnancies and unsafe abortions and combat period poverty across Nigeria.
