Shard Fund is a project, founded in the fall of 2012, which mirrors the structure and operations of an absolute return multi-strategy fund.

Each week we write and post Sierra, which is the face of Shard Fund. It is not a newspaper nor a magazine. Sierra is simply Sierra — a one of a kind publication that captures our beliefs, interests, opinions and tracks the performance of our own portfolio. It is a journey across financial markets and, similar to a journey, there are many additional things that you witness before you reach the final destination. In our weekly issues we incorporate art, talk about interesting events and initiatives, try a joke or two and, of course, talk about financial markets. Even from a quick glimpse it is clear that our content is not constrained and we present our opinion and analysis as it is, unlike traditional media. Founded in July 2013, Sierra welcomes an ever-growing community of contributors and readers and is now shared with universities worldwide.
