Shield Devices has developed a patented pump system, the Trash Shield, that automatically dispenses an EPA-approved disinfectant/insecticide/rodent control/odor mitigating liquid agent onto the interior surfaces of a waste container.
Applications include commercial and residential: trash, recycling, and green waste containers. The cartridges used with the system last an average of 6 months.
The Trash Shield does not require a power source or modifications to the container. The device is portable and simply clips on. It can also be made of recycled materials and dispense organic solutions.
