Mijn naam is Marieke Siers en ik ben het gezicht achter SiersArt.
Passie voor schilderen en tekenen heb ik altijd gehad. Ik zie mezelf niet als de 'klassieke' schilder maar als een veelzijdig en ondernemende kunstenaar!
Mijn atelier kun je vinden in Spinnerij Oosterveld in Enschede. Een plek die mij kracht en rust geeft. Hier maak ik mijn grootformaat acrylwerken en geef ik schilderlessen en workshops.
Mijn acrylwerken (de vrouwelijke portretten) zijn een reflectie op mijzelf. Door mijn eigen haarprobleem, zet ik mijn onzekerheid om in kracht op het doek. Het haarwerk van de vrouwelijke portretten zet ik dan ook als eyecatcher neer. Oftewel: 'Golden hair illuminates my art'.
