SIFE is an international non-profit organization that works with leaders in business and higher education to mobilize university students to make a difference in their communities while developing the skills to become socially responsible business leaders. The SIFE program is run around the world; operating in 41 countries, with 1,376 active teams and 35,000 students involved. In Canada, it is overseen by ACE, Advancing Canadian Entrepreneurship. ACE is a national, not-for-profit organization that in conjunction with SIFE, ignites young Canadians to create brighter futures for themselves and their communities. At Carleton SIFE, we are an entrepreneurial club, which develops and runs socially constructive business projects in our campus and community. Each project is in essence a micro-business, where one of our main goals is to promote and create economic opportunities for small business and self-employed individuals, while at the same time improving the quality of life and having a positive impact in our community.
