The Silarapp webservice have been around for over one and a half years. The project was born as a competition contribution during the event '24 hour business camp' in Stockholm 2011. The service won first price and took off as a hobby project for the three participants Jonny Strömberg, Jonas Forsberg and Ingemar Edsborn.
In early 2012 the team was joined by Mårten Nilsson, substituting Ingemar that moved to USA.
In the beginning of 2013 a company (Silarapp HB) was founded, and with over 600 free customers registered, the work to start accepting credit card payments was started.
