Silicon High School is a registered, refugee-led, pan-African secondary school based in Uganda’s refugee settlement, designed to empower underprivileged youth through a transformative blend of formal education and tech-driven entrepreneurial learning. We integrate Uganda’s new competency-based curriculum with intensive Full-Stack Web Development and Entrepreneurship programs, offering students a unique dual certification: the Uganda Certificate of Education and a diploma in Full-Stack Web Development.
🎯 Our mission is to transform Africa by developing innovative job creators ready to accelerate the continent’s growth. Through a STEM-focused, project-based learning model, students engage in real-world problem-solving across sectors like Climate Change, Healthcare, Agribusiness, and Education. From Senior Two, learners begin building entrepreneurial tech projects, mastering tools like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python.
Students participate in hackathons, pitch to venture capitalists, and complete capstone projects—preparing them for jobs and leadership in Africa’s digital economy. We cultivate a strong alumni network, offering mentorship and continuous professional development to sustain impact beyond graduation.
