Silicon Venturing is a Dutch initiative by a group students from the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences which focuses on improving existing organizations with new innovative technology. Technology is developing rapidly in every area, smart organizations will have to deal with the many changes. More and more technology is incorporated in our every day lives, the Health care industry will have to adapt to this constant change. We are standing at the brink of a new era. Silicon Venturing aims to exploit the many changes in Health care to ensure a healthy growth spurt within the business. The implementation of new technologies for optimization of existing processes is the mission to which we aspire. We strive to ensure a friendly and pleasant experience for the patient and caregiver. The use of mobile applications to improve the overall care, but also the utilization of new techniques to make physical therapy more comfortable. Consider an application that informs a patient of all to the requirements of a surgery. This application could remind the patient of the operation drawing closer and which issues they need to take into account. All this to improve the experience for the patient and caregiver. Technological development can not be stopped. The disappearance of jobs is not always feasible. However creating new jobs through technological innovation is achievable within the scope of our new technological era. Silicon Venturing will accomplish this mission with an enthusiastic group of students with different backgrounds, starting from Healthcare Technologists , Business Economists , Information Technologists and Digital Media specialists.
