We created Silkie in 2020 as a response to the growing trend in self care, particularly haircare. We felt there was a gap in the market for products that promote healthy hair whilst being simple to use. We wanted to make these products of the highest quality while remaining accessible. With slow fashion gaining popularity, we wanted to produce high quality products – rejecting the ‘throwaway culture.
