I’m Allegra Meazza, the jewelry designer and founder of Silver Skinn. Inspired by my Swedish-Italian heritage and upbringing in Spain, I combine the clean, minimalist elegance of Scandinavian design with the warmth and texture of Mediterranean craftsmanship. The name Silver Skinn reflects this blend, with "skinn" meaning "skin" in Swedish—a nod to jewelry that feels personal, effortless, and a natural extension of you.
At Silver Skinn, every piece is handcrafted with care in my one-woman studio. Using mostly recycled silver and traditional techniques like lost-wax casting and hand-soldering, I create high-quality, meaningful jewelry that’s made to last. From rings to necklaces, each design is thoughtfully crafted to seamlessly complement your everyday life, becoming a part of who you are—your “silver skin.”
My journey into jewelry making began three years ago, sparked by a love of silversmithing. From taking my first classes in Madrid to refining my craft in Florence, I’ve drawn inspiration from ancient Greek, Roman, and Byzantine artistry while incorporating a modern aesthetic. Every piece tells a story of craftsmanship, tradition, and individuality.
