Silversoap Media launched in April 2009 and has since designed websites for local up-and-comers, well-respected and established businesses, and even a national retail company. Owner Ronnie Mason, together with his wife Meredith, decided to turn his hobby of web design into a business after being sought out by a local entrepreneur for the website he created for his employer, Mundt Music. The couple realized they could fill the need of many East Texas business owners by providing them with great looking, inexpensive websites. Silversoap was a successful side business for the Masons, but only eight months after the official launch of their business, Ronnie made their pet project into a full-time job. They now work out of a downtown office in Tyler where Ronnie creates and writes code for the websites and Meredith writes text and helps manage accounts.
