Simple Cider Co. embodies the fusion of two passions: crafting exceptional hard cider and nurturing parenthood for our two young daughters (both under 6 years old). Our penchant for discovering new places and breweries led us to question why none of these destinations (restaurants, breweries, parks, play areas) catered to both children and parents.
My 6 years of experience in the construction industry collaborating with ingenious architects, interior designers, and engineers prompted me to explore spaces designed with empathy for both kids and parents. The envisioned space features resilient soft flooring in the play areas, child-friendly sinks and toilets, and a creative ambiance that fuels children's curiosity while offering parents a delightful experience.
Knowing balance was key, we doubled down on iteration after iteration of hard cider. Always learning and exploring different apples and how they affected the flavor/taste. Mixing them with crushed strawberries or raspberries from the garden, and swirling in homemade maple syrup from the Maple tree in our yard. We fell in love.
As a family with young children, we believe many parents share our struggle with the isolation that often accompanies parenthood. We seek funds to establish the Simple Cider Co. brand, create merchandise, and develop, construct, and launch the inaugural Simple Cider Co. establishment (exact location to be determined). Each pledge tier comes with thank yous, merchandise, or experiences as tokens of appreciation for supporting the vision of this inclusive space.
