We hear the words cancer, leukemia, bone marrow and other medical terms but do we really understand them? Can we feel the impact that these words have on the lives of those affected? SIMPLY HUMAN Inc. is a Not For Profit (NFP) organisation raising awareness of what is possibly humanities biggest form of illness – cancer. Run by extremely passionate people, our slogan “Superheros without capes” aims to bring together people from all walks of life willing to help create change and help support those in need. By devoting our efforts to turn a massive negative into a positive solution, we are creating a strong community and support network which is helping to bridge the gap between cancer patients struggling to find the right help. A big part of the organization also is to continue to provide a guiding light for youth who often come to these shores knowing very few people if any at all. We have previously ran educational workshops, seminars, meet-ups and other come-together functions with the goal of spreading awareness as well as the offer of internships and access to our volunteer program. We firmly believe and adhere to the principles that love, support, compassion and understanding will go a long way to help those struggling with leukemia and also the younger generation who are our ambassadors of tomorrow. We are in a beautiful position to help them in achieving their goals by giving more clarity on their journey to help light a pathway to fulfill their ambitions. For us all, it can sometimes feel like the overuse and repetition of such words in the modern day detracts greatly from the sheer scale of their true meaning – we are here to change this. Together, as one, we are looking at kicking cancer’s butt!
