The word "Sim" is a tribute to both Sim Finland, which is where everything began, and also to its founder, Seppo Iso-Mustajärvi, who lived a glorious life and who for me is one of the greatest examples of a truly gifted entrepreneur.

For me, entrepreneurship is like pieces of mosaics in the kaleidoscope of life, forming a stunning harmonious pattern. Do you remember the mosaics at St. Isaac's Cathedral in St. Petersburg? In one swift movement of creation, a sunbeam transforms the pattern of the whole mosaic and brings forth a brand new vision.
The future is thousands of details in a big picture that must first be imagined as a whole. Some of those details are very rare and hard to find, and sometimes it takes years to find the missing piece. When the picture is finally assembled, something that did not exist before is born.
