Het doel van SMP is om o.a. levertijden te verkorten, kostprijzen te verlagen, uitval te minimaliseren en wachttijden te reduceren; oftewel, maximaal rendement te behalen voor haar leden!
Het Smart Machining Platform tracht een toekomstbeeld te schetsen over hoe de verspanende fabriek er over vijf, tien of twintig jaar uit zal zien. Onderwerpen die onder de aandacht worden gebracht zijn Smart Industry, Industry 4.0, automatisering en 24/7 productie.
Gedurende meerdere keren per jaar zullen de deelnemers aan het Smart Machining Platform workshops gaan geven en worden er seminars georganiseerd. Maar bovenal zorgt het platform voor het samenbrengen van verspanende bedrijf met vragen over de toekomst van de verspanende industrie.
Lid worden is volledig gratis en u wordt meerdere keren per jaar uitgenodigd voor het bijwonen van workshops en seminars.
